Thursday, 1/16, 1 – 4 PM: Meet Up for Mah Jongg – The name mah-jongg was coined and copyrighted by Joseph P. Babcock, an American resident of Shanghai, who is credited with introducing the game to the West after World War I. Join our regular Mah Jongg group and learn or advance in this classic 19th century game of strategy, skill, calculation and chance. Beginners welcome, join us upstairs in the Study Room!
