Reopening Update

Staff are excited to be back and looking forward to providing curbside service starting on Tuesday, July 7. We will be contacting everyone with holds to schedule your pickup. The building does remain closed to the public. The book drop is open but if you have a large number of items to return please call us to schedule a drop off. You can continue to place holds but you will only be able to receive items from our Library at first. You can place holds online now or by calling the Library.

We are finally at a point where we can start offering curbside pickup of holds, tax forms and youth activities. As you request items staff will contact you to schedule a time to come pick up your items. For everyone’s health and safety we have specific guidelines in place for this service.  It is expected that patrons will practice social distancing, wear a face covering and stay home if sick. Patrons will arrive at the Library at your scheduled time, park or pull up along the back steps, if you have a cell phone call to let us know you have arrived, remain in your car and keep your window up, show staff your library card through the closed window, staff will place your bag in an empty back seat or in your trunk. Do not attempt to give staff any returns at this time. Returns can be placed in the drop box. Do not just show up and expect to collect your items, we are quarantining materials for safety and delivery of items is taking longer than normal.
